Have you ever had bulgogi? If you have, you know why today’s recipe is so exciting and if you haven’t, well you’re in for a treat.
Bulgogi is a deliciously flavorful Korean dish using thinly sliced beef. I’ve used both sirloin and chuck for this recipe and both turn out great. If you have a more tender cut like sirloin, you don’t need to marinate it for quite as long (I marinated the sirloin for about an hour). I marinated the chuck overnight for very tender results, just make sure it’s sliced very thin. So don’t worry – this is definitely a dish that you can use a cheap cut of steak for! Just ask your butcher to thinly slice it and you’re good to go.
